TazzyTazzy Hey @Terminator, what do you think about either dropping the portals altogether or putting some serious effort into them? With the migration to semantic data format, the portals could nearly be auto-updated with the latest articles from each vendor along with the latest products. Something to think about.
Terminator If it isn’t a big deal to lay them out, they could be an introduction into various topics, especially manufacturers.
TazzyTazzy I’ll have to think about this more. The existing portals have all been abandoned and need a nearly complete overhaul. I can see mfrs each having their own portal. Listing all their products, FAQs, hints and Tips, related articles, etc.
Terminator They were just difficult to create, it not obtuse. You could never get the layout to work properly.
TazzyTazzy Terminator True. But, i’ve more experience now and I’ll tackle this in a few weeks. I want to get more core stuff down to populate the portals first. I’ll keep thinking about this as a sort of end result.
