The list:
Manuf., model, part number, Nominal Current, functions supported, Consisting Modes, simul. trains, Program Track Output, Programming Modes, Throttle network, computer interface.

For the sub page, again with manufacturer, Model, part number, upc. Do we need the MSRP, and if so, maybe it can be moved to the bottom.
The release info with product and manual urls, year of introduction and eol, predecessor and successor.
Details: Integrated throttle, integrated booster being y/n, then nominal booster current. After that FW upgradable, separate program track, throttle bus.
DCC Features" Adress range 2, 2/4, functions, max throttles, max trains, max consists, Consist modes, Speed steps (14, 28/128), Accessory Decoder addresses, Zero Stretch.
Then maybe a section on programming: Programming Modes (Service/Operations), supported modes (Paged, Direct, address, register), CV readback y/n.
Not sure if the Auto Shuffle/ Loco number readback are needed, as they are not common things on many command stations.

I’ve played with the list view a bit. Perhaps instead of having “has ops mode programming” It should be “What programming modes does this support”. Should it just be “Ops Mode” and “Service Mode”.

I don’t know enough about the sub-programming methods. For example, in ops mode, there is short form and long form (linky) programming. If a command station supports ops mode, does this include both forms? What I’m getting at, does each sub-method need to be collected, or is “Ops Mode” and “Service Mode” good enough for programming methods?

I think having checkboxes next to the available modes displayed on the form might make more sense, then on the list view, just simply list all the programming modes available. Again, this come down to my lack of knowledge. Do all command stations support service mode so then we just need to collect ops mode.

Once I have that answered, I’ll tackle the command stations display re-org and see how that looks.

Short and long form are always present because they are in the standard, so no need to get into that detail.
The question is: Does the command station support Ops, or both it and Service mode. Some low cost ones are ops mode only.

The additional ones under Service mode are useful, even if some are obsolete, because of older decoder support or a method that can effectively resuscitate a dead decoder. They don’t have to be in the main list, but are useful in the more detailed item description.

Not all command stations support service mode, as the booster section lacks the output.

Some of the low-end ones really lack features. Instead of 2/4 digit addressing that could be worded as "Extended Address Support (y/n or a check box) because some of the low-end units are 2 digit (primary) only, whereas if Extended is supported, primary is a given in that case.

Then you get an oddball like the NCE power cab, which can support both modes, but has no program track output. You can get an accessory that will automatically switch between main line (ops) and program track when you go into Service Mode programming.
